Purple Dreams.

owo So much to write about.

Monday, Fake an Injury Day. Spirit Week. I usually boycott Spirit Week, but I couldn't pass up that day. :D So when I was lying around the house, sick, on Friday, I made an eyepatch. (Oh, yeah.)

On Sunday (backing up one day here!) I went with some friends (Angel and Emily) to go shopping. We also stopped by a rock climbing place to drop off the boys (in Angel's family), and there was a set of old railroad tracks next to it. The building was quite old, too. Very beautiful. We took pictures, and now this weekend, Angel and I plan to have our own makeshift photoshoot. (Ugh, it sounds so stupid when I put it that way. We're going to walk around our two towns and take pictures, of the tracks, of ourselves, of the stars, photography!)

Fast forward (or rewind?) to Monday again. At lunchtime, the gothic style was brought up, and Fetus said something that I've never heard anyone say, but which I agree with entirely.
(Paraphrasing here:)
"People think that the gothic style is all about being depressed, unhappy, dark, but it's not. It's about finding beauty in the darkness..."
I fail, because I cannot remember the rest of what he said.
But I completely agree... I always knew this... Maybe not knew, but I felt it. I had never been able to put it into words, but I feel that it's the truth.

This is currently my desktop. Click on it. And be blow away.

Sad Day for Happiness In This Crazy World.

I love Cinema Bizarre so much.

It's a sad day for happiness
in this crazy world
It's a crazy world
so all we can do is be
a little crazy to save today

Touch the button
you should sit and listen
Watching as a tear
rains into a broken heart

I'm in a really good mood.
Listening to Cinema Bizarre's new album (ToyZ) on YouTube, thinking about making pancakes, and happy that I'm going into town with my friends today to buy fabric. ^-^
I feel a lot better than last night, but I keep blowing my nose.

So I think I might pierce my ears again? This time second holes on my lobes. That should be a lot less painful than the cartilage piercings I usually do.

I really miss last year, when Pop*Polka and Lizzie and Muse would comment! It's not just about the comments, though, Polka and Lizzie haven't updated their blogs in forever. I haven't even talked to Polka in months. :(( I miss her.

A'ight, I'm gonna see if I can walk to the library. <3

What a Creative Title!

I felt pretty crappy today. Angel and I were starting to get a cold, but it hit me harder than her. Today was so long! A miserable day that just didn't want to end. I nearly fell asleep in a few classes. :D
Econ (my last class) was a bit more interesting because 1) we watched a video with John Stossel, and 2) Mica thought that Kiro was a girl. XDD

Then I got on the bus and my brother was wearing my trench coat. O.O"

Oooh! I want to go to the NYC Anime Festival now. u.u But I can't! Why do I want to go, you ask? Not for the reason you would think. Not for the anime (well, okay, kinda)!
Look at this Guest List.
Now scroll down, scroll down... Do you see it? No, of course you don't. You have no idea who I'm talking about!

Yui Makino

"She also made her debut as a voice actress, starring as Sakura in Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle..."

For those of you who have been living in a metaphorical cave, Tsubasa is my favourite manga ever! (Well, okay, it's tied with Loveless. And Kino no Tabi isn't a manga, so it naturally beats that (the best anime ever).

And then Sarah Baily, the English voice actress for Tohru in Fruits Basket!
And, of course, Scott Westerfeld!
And I'm gonna miss it!

Monday starts Spirit Week, if I am correct. I do not usually participate in Spirit Week, but 'Fake an injury day" is too good to pass up! =D I'm gonna see if I can make an eyepatch. Then I'll probably wrap my arms in bandages or something. Problem is, I don't want to waste my real bandages. I haven't cut myself (in the shower!) recently (I have a huge problem with that. I don't know what it is!), but I don't want to be caught with blood dripping down my legs and nothing to bandage it with!
I'll find something. Maybe that wrap that sports girls use as headbands.
Also, I need elastic string... (For the eyepatch.)
I'd wrap my head, but it seems that a lot of people will be doing that. ^^;

Ah, I feel much better!

My Car is Fueled on Awesome.

Me: What would you do if you woke up and some guy was sleeping at the end of your bed?
Angel: Well, one, I would be like, "What the HECK?", and two, I would check if he's cute...

See You at the Pole was great.
I woke up a bit earlier, ate the huge breakfast I prepared the night before, then my dad took me in to school early so I could get there to pray before school starts. (My bus is usually late.)
I was the only person there, as I expected. So I sat on the bench that circles the flagpole and prayed. At about 7:15 a classmate, Jen, approached me (as she was walking up the walkway) and asked me if today was See You at the Pole. I told her it was, that's what I was doing, and yes, there was no one else. "Awkward," she said with a nervous laugh. Then she told me that she was going to put her lunch in her locker, and she'd be back. And she was. I can't tell you how proud of her I was right then, even though I haven't talked to her since eighth grade. My respect for her has gone up so much.

If only everyone had the courage she had. I know for a fact that there are a number of Christians (and Catholics) at my school. It made me kind of sad that we were the only ones at the flagpole. I'm sure that some of them just didn't know about it, and I wish that I had done more to spread the word, but how many people saw that there were only two people sitting around that pole, and just passed by? How many people are ashamed of their faith?

I feel like I need to say something profound to close those two paragraphs, but I honestly cannot think of anything.
Oh, man, I'm starting to get hungry. This fast is going to be brutal in about half an hour. Must drink more water to fill myself up! (That's been my tactic all day.)

I'm excited for youth tonight. And after that especially, because that's when I'm going to end my fast! *drools*

BURN!

I just burned my mom. XD
"Courtney, help me. I need a smart-a comment!" "You know, there's that saying... It's better to keep quiet and let people think you're an idiot than open you mouth and prove them right."
Burn!

M gonna try to keep this a somewhat short post.

I think Angel needs to come to youth sometime. >.<

LOL. That reminds me! I was at the church's library (which is basically a bookcase lined against a short wall by an exit), dropping off some books my mother wanted to donate, when I heard a certain person's voice... "Courtney!" Me: *looks around, sees no one* Again: "Courtney!" Looked outside. No one. No one in the hall, either. And of course, there was no one in the empty room behind me! Then I heard some small laughter. Still, no one! This phantom person was not showing himself, and now he was laughing at me!!! I would not allow that. After looking around suspiciously once more, I slowly walked away... And then the door to the empty room opened up. XD
Why were you guys sitting in a dark room anyway?!
(Well, I'm sure it was prayer... But why was the room dark?! That's just creepy.)
(By the way, Zach was the one calling my name, and Kayla was laughing at me.)

And it turns out that my mysterious facade is crumbling. Nooo! Before youth, Zach and I were talking (yay! Even though we go to the same church, I am hardly ever able to talk to him in person! Except for Sunday... Yeah, Sunday... I never did get a piece of cake... What the heck?!), and Rob walked up to us, chatted with Zach for a minute or so, then told me, "Yeah, so I'm learning more about you by Zach's blog than by talking to you!" Then he said something to the effect of, he (Z) mentions me sometimes on his blog, and Rob's like, "oh, they must have talked about that together!"
"You're mysteriousness is going away!"
(Me:) "No! I will not allow this!"
Okay, so I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to figure something out to stop this.
XD
Probably won't work out too well. I've never been so good at that sort of thing.
