Get ready for it... -deep breath-
Traffic signals in the hallway!
No, seriously, it's a good idea! Have you seen the halls at my school? No, you haven't! So you don't get to shoot down my ideas just like that! ...Okay, Genaro's idea, but I contributed!
Genaro: I hate these halls.
Courtney: Yeah, me too. They're so crowded! They, like, need to make them wider! (hand gestures)
Genaro: No, stop signs!
Courtney: Yeah! Totally! And lanes so people won't walk on the left side... I hate that. (starts babbling but shuts up immediently.) And speed limits. But that would only work if they gave tickets...
Genaro: They probably wouldn't listen to them if they didn't give tickets. Like, they could put a light on the top of their head when they do it.
Oh, wow. Just now I was looking out the kitchen window and I saw my dog, Kobe. Big black dog. In the distance my other dog, Mattie, ran by. I thought nothing of it. Then Kobe ran by, right behind Mattie. O_O I looked at the Kobe closest to me. Still there. And so was the one in the distance.
Turns out that the closer one was just some dog that ran away. It was so weird, though! XD I wanted to go check its tags, but I didn't really want to interact with a stray dog... Especially one of that size.
I love this....
Ouran!! On my closet door. Does anyone else think that the twins look kind of demented here...?
Heheheh... My closet! A different one from the above photo. And a TV... Yay! It isn't hooked up to the cable, but I don't mind! I can only watch movies.
My mother calls this my "I Dream of Jeanie" bed.
...We still have our tree up... But in our defence, we put it up three days before Christmas!
Ugh... It's a wasteland out there...
I love this bag to death!
That's it for now!
Later I'll post last Saturday in photos.

Okay, perhaps not persocom, but they are female robots! I wish they had persocom ears, though. That would be awesome.
(Okay, if you haven't seen Chobits, this is a persocom:)
Anyway, I think the actroids are really odd. The movement, mostly. And the voice of the one in this video...! It may be similar to Chobits, but it isn't anime! Use a regular voice!

I mean, the music sucked, but television was awesome! Turn on the TV today and you get shows like Total Drama Island, Don't Forget the Lyrics, and The Secret Life of the American Teenager. All shows that I find incredibly ridiculous. Now, I'm not saying that there aren't any good shows on now, there are, but the bad shows overpower the bad ones. Really, I only watch reruns of older shows.
Seriously, the shows I like are all from the '90s. That '70s Show, Seinfeld, The King of Queens (started in the mid-'90s and ended in the mid-2000s), Everyone Loves Raymond. Those are all sitcoms... I actually can't think of any good recent sitcoms.
The '90s cartoons, in my opinion, are so much better than the cartoons now, even larger than the '90s to 2000s sitcoms ratio. Now I can name a million (okay, there's a slight exaggeration there) cartoons being made now that I find to be repetitive, meaningless, and just plain stupid. The cartoons from the '90s (the ones I watched, at least) were original, something rare in animation today. >_< style="font-style: italic;">good was Invader Zim, and that ended five years ago! That show was simply amazing, though. In my opinion. But I'm not going to get into that right now...
I'm not saying that the good cartoons were just in the '90s, but that's when they ended. There were great cartoons all the way back until... Well, when they first came out! I've only seen a few episodes of the old black and white Mickey Mouse show, but that was really cool. Silent, I think?
Which brings me to another subject: kids these days know nothing! About the times before they were born, that is. A few weeks ago a classmate said something about a magic marker, and everyone else started cracking jokes about the markers being 'magic'... How can t
And then, today in History (same class as above) we're learning about the 'Roaring Twenties,' and some kids started talking about 'how the heck do you watch silent movies?!' I was just like O_O They've never seen a silent movie?! -aghast-
Okay, okay, sorry. I just needed to vent...

I didn't want him to win the election, but now that he's president, I'm not going to waste time insulting him. His speech gave me some confidence in him. He's a really good public speaker... He had that entire thing memorized!
...Did anyone else dislike that poem?
It's just a little after 6 am... FRIDAY! W00t. This weekend is looking up! This evening will consist of dinner and Lord of the Rings: The Two Towsers (still have yet to finish it). Tomorrow I'm going into town with my mother, and after that we're going to this really, really cool museum. It's kind of a museum of our state's history, I think, but it's so cool.
I want to see this, but it's rated R. (u_u)

I made pie! Yay! My mother's friend gave us homemade apple sauce (DELICIOUS) and apple pie filling. So now I have a yummy-looking apple pie... And I'm not hungry at all. WHAT ARE THE ODDS?!
Okay, last night I saw two of the best movies I've seen in a long time: Edward Scissorhands and Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring.
Young Johnny Depp. It doesn't even look like Johnny Depp!
I want my own Edward! And NOT Cullen. NEVER Cullen. >_<
Lord of the Rings:
I am in LOVE with the world that this is set in. I love medieval fantasy worlds so much! Worlds like in this movie, and Mabinogi and Kino no Tabi... ~
We started The Two Towers today, just the first hour and a half. We have the extended versions of the last two Lord of the Rings movies, and they're soo long... Two discs! O_O
Read this. NOW. It's so funny, and so true! Those Anti-Twilight will love it... I'm not sure about the fangirls, though.
Eyes hurt... Need to... Pull self away... From computer...

I was really hoping for a snow day this week... But noooo, we must go to school, even if we're the only school in the county open! -sticks out tongue at school superintendent-
The other day we were let out ten minutes early! ...Then our bus backed into another bus. So we ended up getting home at the same time, if not later.
I'm going bowling with my family this Friday! Tomorrow. Then I'm going grocery shopping with my mother. I'm excited! :P

I'm not going to spoil the ending or anything (if there's somebody out there reading this who hasn't seen this episode), but it was... Wow... (laugh) I should have seen that coming...
(I think I may have a new favourite episode...!)

Friday- Angel had her birthday party, and we (Kaity, and Chelsie -Holleigh and Heather came later-) rode home with her... I had more fun than I've had in a looong time! Not the ride, actually being at her house. After Holleigh and Heather came, we played Rock Band (I suck at the drums, so I was demoted to bass peddle... But later I discovered my talent with the guitar! (laugh))... And just hung around and talked and watched movies.
Saturday- Umm.... Actually, I didn't really do anything. Besides at Angel's, where we watched Pirates of the Carribean and ate delicous Belgem waffles and more cake! :P Not at the same time, mind you.
Sunday- Church, then I went with my mother to show her friend how to use a computer. Grr. >_<
And on a final note! Tsubasa RESEVior CHRoNiCLE~

Yep, template changed! I'm sorry about doing this so often... But the last one was a Christmas one, and I get sick of things easily, and... Why am I making up excuses? If you don't like the layout, there's this handy little button at the top-right corner of your screen...
I'm starting to get excited about going to Florida this March! My friend just went there and tried surf-boarding... I've always wanted to do that! Then my mother started telling me about Epcot Center, and that sounds amazing as well... Even if we didn't do anything, it WARM there! Not to mention palm trees. And I can wear my bathing suit. ^^ I just lost some weight, so I'm much more confident now... I love that bathing suit! It's so cute. :D
The video below is the opening and ending of the anime Monster. The anime is kinda slow, but the manga is SO good! I read almost an entire volume today within an hour (I read the beginning a few days ago).
And now Muse is getting me all pumped up about Tsubasa. (laugh) I changed my wallpaper to Tsubasa RESERVior CHRoNiCLE... Hahaha. Man, seriously, it's an awesome manga. ^_^ I've even started putting some of CLAMP's style into my drawings... Mostly the exaggerated limbs. :P (My style is a mixture of a ton of really good manga artists... And a little bit of stuff I made up. Mostly the eyes.)

I thought this was SO weird at first... I still do... But it's so funny!
(Yeah, yeah, don't bother saying anything about my sanity... We all know that it went down the gutter a looong time ago...)
First day back at school. My friends and I exchanged Christmas gifts (because we had a snow day on what was supposed to be the last day before Christmas Break XD). I received... Candy cane, huge Hersheys bar, calandar... Thanks, Angel, Chels, Kaity! <3
I think I'm going to rewatch Naruto. The Chuunin exam part, at least. I was the happiest when I was really into Naruto... I miss that... I really need to find another awesome anime to get obsessed about!
I'm watching H2O: Footprints in the Sand right now, but maybe I'll start The Melocholony of Haruhi whoever... Maybe.
I'm going to dedicate every Friday to anime, like Polka ;) ...Dang, I'm busy this Friday...
Monday, 5 January 2009
I'm listening to Mr. Grinch... I need to get that song off of my playlist, too! (laugh)
Angel just came back from Florida. She was gone for about a week, I think... But she didn't fly! That would stink. I'm going to Orlando this March, I think. I'm mostly excited about the airplane ride! :P I guess I'll have to pack some t-shirts (obviously). My parent's probably won't let me take my halter tops, those show a lot of... Chest... (nervous laugh)
I am SO addicted to House M.D.! I'm actually going to go watch it right now... After these random questions! (clapclap)
(1) Do you wake up easily in the morning or require coffee, exercise, or something else to get you going? Ugh... It takes me awhile to wake up, but it just requires time for me to wake up... I hate coffee!
(2) Are you anxious about anything today? What? Um... Nope.
(3) What is something fun you are going to do today? Sit around and do nothing? Snow day!
(4) Would you rather be in a really cold place or a really hot place? Hot! Hot! I want to be in FL right now!
(5) Have you ever had a boyfriend that you regret dating? I've never dated before...
(6) Do you feel younger or older than your current age? Younger! Like a year or two. >_<
(7) What do you recycle at your house, if anything? Pop cans... Kind of. I'm really the only one who recycles them...
(8) Who is the boss in your house? My parents.
(9) Do you buy lottery or powerball tickets? What the heck is powerball?! I don't buy any tickets for anything.
(10) What is your own personal bedtime routine? Shower, PJs, computer/TV, contacts out, brush teeth, read for awhile, sleep!
