All Around Me by Flyleaf

My friend invited me to go to a concert with him next month! ^^ I've never really been to a real concert (real as in good), so I'm really excited! But I need to convince my parents to let me go (u_u). They're Christian bands, so that might help. Kutless, Flyleaf, Run Kid Run, and some others (possibly Superchick)... I've been listening to them for about half an hour... They're really good! Especially Flyleaf.



I made onigiri! My friend (Christian... Same guy as above) was telling me about how he was making onigiri... So I just had to try it! Heh, actually... If you used to read my old blog, you'll remember that I've made them before. But I didn't make them correctly. These ones are the right size this time! :D Actually, my mother found nori (seaweed) and ume boshi (pickled plums) at a health food store! ^^ The ume boshi is actually pretty good with the rice, surprisingly. Three of them had (I ate one) ume boshi, two have chicken (...I found some in the fridge), and five had (again, I ate one) nori. There is one plain one, I think... Oh, and I put hommus in one of them... I'm afraid to eat it, though. ^^;

Heh. I've been called goth so many times, just because most of my wardrobe is black. And more than I thought, apparently. I guess I'm called goth behind my back, too XP Stupid people...

My father is renovating the kitchen.
So now there is a huge hole where the door is going to be.
I was going to go down to the basement, but instead of going through the breezeway, I went through the hole in the wall. So, inside, outside, inside. Don't ask why (laugh).
Okay, seriously, people. I need some human interaction! (Hint, hint...)

Gah, I'm so tired! I don't get much sleep T_T I'm getting bags under my eyes (-sob-).
Two things came in the mail for me today! The Invader Zim box set and that Chinese dress I mentioned! I love them both ^^ But I'm so extremely bored right now...!!! I wish one of my friends would call me or something (u_u). Or at least IM me! But one of my friend's computer crashed, and the rest just don't really get on the internet much. I'd go to my room and read, but I'm afraid that I'll fall asleep if I lay (or even sit) down on my bed.
I apologize about the boring posts. Nothing has really happened.

Aurgh, My parents made me wake up early so we could go to the 9:00 service, rather than the 10:30 one T_T My alarm went off at 7:30, and my dad came in my room to wake me up... Then my mother came in and turned my air conditioner down because I had it up as high as it could go. I WAS HOT! I'd worn a black sweater that day. And everytime I complained that I was hot, my mother got mad.
Haha, we went into town yesterday, and I got a few odd looks. The entire day I was wondering why, and it was as we were driving home that I realized that it was probably because I was wearing a large black sweater in ninety-degree weather (about 32 degrees Celcius).
...I blame my stupidity on the heat.

I just discovered $20 that I had hidden away a long time ago! I was saving for Photoshop, but I never ended up buying it, my parents bought it for me for my birthday ^-^ I thought I'd spent that money! LOL.
So now I *really* want to spend that money! Either the Naruto Art Book or Invader Zim on DVD. T_T I don't know...

Monster

I just started a new anime, Monster! Yesterday I finished Ouran High School host Club.
So far, Monster is about a surgeon who, rather than operating on the Mayor, chose to go against orders and operate on a boy that arrived at the hospital first. He was shot in the head, his parents were killed, and his sister saw the entire thing... Um, okay, I just can't do it justice. Rather than read my boring description, watch it! It's catagorized as 'horror' on anime6.org. :3

Okay, I just watched the season finale of Last Comic Standing. I know, I know, it aired weeks ago. I taped it, and it just took me forever to get around to watching it.
I am very unhappy with the results. Iliza!!! I don't like her! Her jokes really weren't all that funny to me. T_T I liked Marcus and Jeff Dye. Jeff Dye's homeless joke was hilarious. And Marcus's music jokes, too! He actually sings pretty well :D

I bought a dress on eBay yesterday! It's the one in that picture. A Chinese dress! I love Chinese dresses ^-^ They're so pretty! Especially this one.
I met a really nice (and cute) guy at driver's ed! He likes anime, too! :3 I is very happy!
I went shopping yesterday, too. Bought some really cute and cool clothes! Maybe tomorrow I'll post a picture of all of the GIR stuff I bought. Which would be:

~Two t-shirts.
~A sketchbook
~A notebook
~A folder

All with GIR's cute little mongoose dog face on it! Bought 'em at Hot Topic (you gotta love that store).
Funny thing is, I didn't see one thing with Zim on it! Except for the package stickers, which don't count! He's the main character, for pete's sake! That's why they call it Invader Zim, not Invader GIR. Although, that would be hilarous XDD

Sunday Angel, Nudge, and I had to go clean a creek. For Girl Scouts.
Me smelled! When we got to Angel's house, her little sister's first reaction was "Ew! You stink! Get away from me!" How rude! XD

I spent the night with Angel. We trimmed her brother's hair! Her father had just cut it, but there were a lot of single hairs that were much longer than the rest. So after much begging and persuading, he finally let Angel trim those pieces. But she was being so slow, so I grabbed a pair of scissors (that are for the dog, I think?) and started trimming, too. LOL, you know that you're good friends when you trim her brother's hair.

My friend created a blog :3 girlnextdoorsmile.blogspot.com. As of right now, we're trying to get the template to work, though. So it could be a mess when you visit it.

I have one phrase that I think will sum up today's Naruto dub episode very well:

I just finished it. Took me forever!

I just got the mail... My schedule hasn't come in yet! There was a letter for "The parents or gaurdians of [name of my brother]." I opened it up, just in case they labeled it wrong, and it was actually for "The parents or gaurdians of Courtney [last name]."
...Nope.
I am glad that I opened it, though.

I made a wonderful discovery! Fawesome new fall pictures! You can actually choose your pose, like spring pictures! And there's a cool red background that I love. I hope they have the same thing at my school!

I'm going grocery shopping with my grandmother next Wednesday. I'm excited! A JCPenny catalog came in the mail~ cute clothes! I'm going to make a list of the stores that I want to go to.

Y'know, I think I say that I love something at LEAST once a post. Eh, heh, heh... Oops!

Lucid dream?

I think I had a lucid dream this morning! I had to wake up and go to my grandmother's (so she could take me to the orthodontist), and when I got there, I fell asleep on her day bed. And, like I said, I think I had a lucid dream! I'm very excited.

It was... Really weird! I don't remember where or when, but at one point I had the thought "I think I'm dreaming. Wow, this is such a vivid dream!" I don't know HOW in the world I had those thoughts, because I didn't do any of the "reality checks" that the website linked above said to do. But I remember feeling like I was waking up, and I tried my hardest to hold on to the dream (laugh). I didn't spin in circles, either. Like the website said. So, I have absolutly no idea how I had a lucid dream. A couple times I've wondered if it really wasn't a lucid dream, but then I remembered that I knew that I was dreaming, so it must have been.

Anyways, when I realized that I was dreaming, I was SO excited. I think I kind of floated down the stairs of my house, and I ran to the front door. My brother was passing by, and I tried to tell him that I was having a lucid dream, but he didn't really get it, and I had a thought that perhaps I wasn't supposed to tell people in my dream? Oh, before I talked to my brother, I tried to go to where Diak-kun lives (LOL), but it didn't work. Then, after talking with my brother, I raced outside. For some reason I had a scooter (er, probaly because I was reading Kamikaze Girls before I fell asleep, and they were having a conversation about scooters). I wanted to try to ride it to London, but the semi trucks on the high way were scaring me. Then I realized that since I was dreaming, the semis couldn't hurt me. I wanted to step in front of one, just to see what would happen (wow, I'm such an idiot), but I felt like I was starting to wake up. I tried my best to hold on to the dream (I should have spun in circles...), but I woke up... Well, not exacly. I woke up within my dream, so I went back to regular dreaming. I thought I was back in reality, but that really doesn't make sense, since I was with a girl that I have only met online (laugh).

That is it!
Must go mow the lawn now.

My family owns a golf cart (my father uses it for hunting). Soooo, Ming decided to drive the golf cart... BACKWARDS. I could attempt to explain this in words, but I found it much easier to just draw an incredibly crappy sketch! Good luck reading my writing :D


It was hilarious! Ming... Ran into a random mulberry bush. We got kind of scared because we're not supposed to run over trees (even though my parents hate the mulberry trees...), so we tried to put it back up. Ming had the grand idea of running over it from the other side to straighten it... Yeah, great idea, Ming. Now it won't stand up at all! She tried to run it over AGAIN from the first side, but I managed to stop her XD
