I watched a video of Yu (who is now the guiatist of my favourite band) violating a stuffed monkey last night. XD
I like how Yu seems to be so dark and cool in pictures, but when I see videos of the band just having fun, he's always acting so... Whimsical.
Anyhoo, you can see the video here.
Poor Siro! XD

I apologize, I will try to not talk about Cinema Bizarre as much, as I think there is only one person who both listens to CB and reads my blog!

Yesterday I went to the hair salon and had my hair bleached. Streaks. I love it!
But if I had my way, the entire top would be white! (My mother forbade me X( )

The other day on the bus, an interesting topic came up, one that never seems to get old:
Twilight.

It wasn't as interesting as it could be, since Fetus (who brought it up, I think?) dislikes it as well. But he did bring up a very good point: Edward is always saying what a monster he is, but how the heck is he a monster?! He freaking sparkles. And he's never done anything to prove his theory.
I think that if Edward was a bit darker (okay, a lot darker), the books would probably be better. And Edward might actually be attractive. Stephanie Meyer must not have recieved the memo, because last time I checked, dark guys can be very attractive.
No, really. In anime, books, movies, whatever, what boys are the fangirls always squeeing over? Uchiha Sasuke, Fang, Light... All dark characters, all very popular in the fandom world!
It just bugs me.

Ahh... Life is great.

My days have been very odd. Bad and good, everything all evens out in the end.
For instance, a couple of days ago, Cinema Bizarre (my favourite band ever) was just two hours away, but we couldn't go because my mother had to help out at church. I'm not saying that the last part is bad, it's not... But I wanted to go so badly!
My mom actually wanted to go (not too badly, it seems. :/)! She said that it would be interesting to see them in real life (not just in pictures)! Then she started going off about something to do with Kiro's height, and I tuned out...
...Umm, what was my point?
Right. Anyway, I went to S.W.A.R.M. (youth group), and I had fun, and we even stopped for ice cream afterwards!
Though it is still killing me that I couldn't go. >_< size="2">XD

I'm listening to "Better" by Plumb. It reminds me of a character in my story... If you remind me, I'll probably talk about it next post. Or at least the characters. ^_^

DANGIT. Why does this always happen? I sit down, prepared to type up a ton of stuff, but when I finally open the page, I don't feel like it!!!
Oh, well...

...Aaaand now I want cherry ice-cream. And House. (IMEANIWANTTOWATCHITIDON'TWANTHOUSE!)

Oh, my gosh. This is freaking brilliant! I was actually in tears! (I think I nearly died due to lack of oxygen.)
Dane Cook is hilarious.

The Way We Are

No hiding
No faking
This life can be amazing
You want it
You need it
Beware! It's so contagious

Oh, man, those lyrics are so true.
That kind of life is something that I greatly desire, more than anything else.
When Luminor sings, I'm always like "Oh, yes!"
(Luminor sings the part up there.)
You can listen to the entire song here,
or try to find it on my playlist.

I'm reading the German official Cinema Bizarre site, translated with Google. It's actually translated pretty well!

You may notice that I now post comments as "Seventeen." Don't ask. I have a whole thing with that name, but basically, I was just sick of my real name. =_=

I have so many movies to watch! On Friday we stopped at the video store, then we went again because my mother forgot to pick something up for this Sunday school class she teaches.
Movies to watch:
Max Payne
Castle in the Sky
Guess Who
Robots (Hey, she forgot to bring it!!!)
House, MD Season 3 (okay, not a movie, but I still will watch it!)

So many! And... I still have homework to do. >_<
I think I'll do my English here!

A man walking down the crowded street
Just another person living his life.
He stops to look in a window
then continues on his way.
But wait... What is he...?
Without warning, the man turns around
and sprints toward the glass.
He doesn't stop;
he flies right into it.
It shatters into tiny shards,
each glistening in the sun as they soar.
And the man just stands right up,
brushes his pants off,
and continues on his way.
...If only something like that could happen.

Does anyone know?
...Heheheh.

Day burns down to night,
Burns the edge of my soul.
In the night
I break into sparks of suns
And become fires in a dust of bones
Night knifes
My breath swallows whole my tongue
Turn back
Reverse return
In the night I see the real
Concealed in the day's bright lie
Eyes stitched shut
White teeth smile
Sleep walks and talks
And feet mark time of day

One: Yes, template change. I didn't want to, but the old one did that weird bandwidth thing. >_< Two: I love the poem above! It's from one of my favourite movies, The Invisible.

Okay, I'll talk about my vacation a bit.
Yes, we stayed in a town near Orlando, in a lovely condominium (my uncle has a time share).
This was the first time flying in an airplane! It was really cool. Personally, I find the tiny suburbs incredibly funny. They're just in neat rows, looking very similar... It's not something I can really explain, it's just funny! (As funny as the town in Edward Scissorhands... Actually, that is more sad than happy...)

On Sunday we attempted to go to Cocoa Beach, but we didn't get to the actual beach due to some parking issues... There was a shuttle launch that night and everyone was there!!! But it was okay, we stopped at the side of a highway to this little area that is basically trees, some sand, and ocean. I found a dead crab! Then we went back to the condo and watched the shuttle there. It was freaking cool! The smoke (is that the word?) that the shuttle left behind was so pretty!
Oh, and on our way to Cocoa Beach (Coco is my nickname!), we drove on Courtenay Parkway (pronounced the same as Courtney). It was perfect! I wanted to take a photo of Courtenay Parkway, but by the time I asked, we had already drove past all the signs. (u_u)

Monday we went to Universal Studios, which was okay. I loved the Simpsons ride, though! Angel and Nudge, who went two months ago, thought it was stupid, but my family liked it. ^_^

The Magic Kingdom was on Tuesday, which I did not like. It's more for younger kids, I guess. The two things that really stick out in my mind from that park was 1) the HORRIBLE 'Small World' ride, and 2) the hot Asian guy that stood in front of me in line for the Haunted Mansion ride. XD

And finally, my mother and I went to Epcot on Wednesday! It was... Awesome! Japan, China, and the UK were my favourited. Cananda was quite boring. Probably because I live so close to it, our culture is basically the same! And by "culture," I mean the fact that the stores there consisted mostly of maple syrup, stuffed moose in hunting clothes, and warm wool hats. We have a ton of stores like that where we live (maybe just a little up north).

I'm not finished moving into this new template yet, I still have to figure out how to get that stupid Navbar gone and some other stuff. So please be patient!

There are some really cute Ristsuka-kun cosplay on Photobucket... Like this one, and this one. (kyaa!)
I bought volume one of Loveless last week. I love it!

Okay, sorry for cutting off, but I have to go!

Loveless Ritsuka Icon Pictures, Images and Photos Loveless Ritsuka Icon Pictures, Images and Photos

Back from vacatiiiion!

Yeah, I went to Kissimee, Florida (aka Tourist City!) for a week. Sorry for not posting a warning! I didn't really want to leave a huge sign saying "MY HOUSE WILL BE EMPTY FOR A WEEK!"

Yeah.

I was going to upload a bunch of photos/videos from my trip, but... I think those would be pretty boring. =_= And I don't feel like it. Way too many.

...DANGIT. I have to go. To the docter's. Then to my bff Kaity's house (with Angel and Nudge-chan!) =_=

Sorry!
More later!

PS. Is the header of this blog all weird for everyone, or is it just me?

This song gave me goosebumps.

Awesome video, great song, amazing lyrics.
(The end is my favourite part)

Wow. I just got so completely distracted. ^^; I was making an avatar for my new dA account (theBIZARREone), then I looked up that song up there, then I started this post, then I searched Photobucket for pictures of Cinema Bizarre (and Kiro XD). And look what I found!

No make-up. Simple adorable.

I found an old jacket of my mother's. It's from the '80s, what she calls "nautical." Me? I think it has a lot of Visual Kei potential. :D
(The shoulders are very weird, though.)

Okay, well, I really can't think of anything else... I'm going to go upstairs and try to figure out what to wear with this jacket!

How Does it Feel?

Imagination baby can take you far
Don't be afraid to come off slightly bizarre

The words above are my philosophy for my high school life. I want to be strange, stand out from the crowd, and be me. Right now I just dress kind of gothy. Because I don't have enough diverse clothes (because I do have plenty of clothes!) to really do much with them. I have waaay too many T-shirts.

TT_TT

But soon I hope I'll be able to dress in a way that is kind of... A mix of Visual Kei, gothic Lolita, and just plain me
(By the way! Those purple words are from the lyrics of Cinema Bizarre's Get Off. See why I like that band so much?)
On the bus, just half an hour ago, two eighth grade girls (who dress "scene") just looked at me, I think one girl mouthed something when I wasn't looking, and just burst out laughing. For about thirty seconds. Then did it again. When I said "What?" they wouldn't tell me (of course). I'm going to assume that it either has something to do with my clothes or my makeup. Or perhaps they were just trying to make me feel insecure (I've done that before, when I was younger). If so, it worked... For a split second. Then I was just like... "They are so stupid!" Seriously, those girls annoy me. One of them is a total bee-otch. The second isn't as bad... Well, she never asked me if I cut myself, at least. >_>

I want those boots sooo badly! (>_<) I'm in love with fashion! And those boots would make me complete... As complete as shoes can make you, at least. And these boots would make me more complete than any other boots could. (What, are you in love with these things?!)'

I kind of want to get a hair straightener. Because lately my hair has become very wavy and frizzy and out of control! And I love straight hair. What happened to my lovely straight hair?!
(Maybe some sort of hair product will fix it...)

One quick post before bed!

One: Cinema Bizarre will be in my state at the end of this month!!!!!! O_O Only two hours away! -faint-
The bad news? My mother gets out of work too late, so we would miss part of the show, my mother also has to help out at church on that day, and the tickets are probably sold out by now.
-faints again-

Two: My mom still refuses to let me bleach my hair... But she will let me get my nose pierced! Where's the logic in that?

Three: Again, Cinema Bizarre! They have t-shirts. One of them is sold at Hot Topic. Sweet! (Only $20.)

Four: Only five more days until I go to Florida! I need to start packing... There's so much to bring!

Five: Dangit, what was five...? Oh, right! I did my make-up kind of Visual Kei-ish... It looked sweet! I'm going to do it regularly... I'll post a photo tomorrow... If I remember to charge my camera battery...

I think that's it. Of course, once I'm in my room I will remember three other things I forgot to write about. :/ Oh, well, I suppose it can't be helped.
New trimester tomorrow! W00t!

House is so much better than NCIS!

I'm cold.
But then I put a hoodie on over my camisole, so I'm a bit warmer.
I've been looking into Visual Kei fashion a lot tonight.
Most of it is incredible expensive. I found this great site through an ad in Shojo Beat magazine, d-decker02.com.
Their shoes are awesome!

My hair is bothering me so much! It's getting too long. Now I remember why I cut it in the first place! (Last year.)
So I'm trying to draw what I want my hair to look like so I have something to give to the stylist. I hope this works.
I also want to bleach my bangs. My mother is saying no right now, but only because she hates that look. I think I may eventually be able to turn her around. :D

Right now my hair is just plain. Long and boring. Bangs that keep parting (stupid bangs!). But I try to make up for what I lack in my hair with my clothing. My clothes are usually something like black, white, and grey plaid miniskirt, tights, sandals with a heel, and maybe a long black coat or a black blouse with a hot pink tank top underneath, covering the v-neck.
Once in a while I may throw in a long paisley skirt or a purple hoodie littered with little stars.
But I hate wearing just T-shirt and jeans.
By the way, the outfit I described up there, with the coat, would be my closest thing to lolita. When I wore it the first time, my mother said that I looked "like that girl from The Path."
(She just meant that I looked very gothic. Which is cool.)

What do you wear on a regular day?

I have fallen in love with the Kodona lolita look. A cool style for girls, pretty hot for guys. ;)

I don't remember if I've mentioned this before, but I have been watching a lot of House, M.D. lately!
I loove that show...
I'm just about to watch the last episode of the third season (online). Then I will go upstairs and watch the fourth season, which my mother kindly rented for me at Family Video.
The third season is the best so far, I think! The arc with that policeman (what's his name?) and the Vicoden... And a certain kiss...!!! :D Love it.
My friends like NCIS better. I watched an episode yesterday. I don't like it.
House all the way!

Exams

One more day left for exams! I don't think I did too well in Algebra, but I knew almost all of the answers for my History test.

My Mokona plushie finally came! (w00t!)
I have sand in my sandals. How the heck did that happen? :/
Back to Mokona Modoki!

So cute. ^_^ I plan on taking Mokona on the airplane with me next week... That's right! I'm leaving for Florida in ONE WEEK! I can't believe how soon it is! I heard something about our plane stopping in Detroit, I hope it happens! Just because I saw a video of David Archuleta in this awesome tunnel at the Detroit Metro Airport! It changes colours!

Back to exams. (Sorry, I keep skipping around!) We were let out earlier, at 12:35. So Kaity's mom took me home (I'm am so greatful!). And Nudge invited me over to her house tomorrow. ^^ I hope everyone else can come, this will be fun!

I'm kind of saddish right now... Just at my complete lack of social skills. There's this guy in my Algebra class, sempai, who always speaks softly and kindly to me. I don't know why, probably because I'm the silent/shy girl. It's odd because he's always yelling out jokes (which are almost always funny, even the teacher laughs) during class. He's only talked to me a few times, but when he does (very kindly), I'm usually too surprised or flustered to say much of anything. I don't like the boy! I just wish that he could see my real personality. Because he's a really cool guy... But I'm just that way, I guess.
Whoops. Back to happier things!

I think I developed a new fetish for guys with long hair. >_> Long black hair, that is.
Heheh.
Question: What's your fetish?

I like doing these question things.
I do have another one. It's kind of embarrassing, though.

These drawings were actually based on real people... Though in the end result, the only thing resembling them is their hairstyle. The first one is an eight grader who rides my bus, and the second was from this really attractive guy at school. (Yes, that is a boy.)

I'm smelling a Plantation Mint tea bag... It smells sooo good. The water is taking forever to boil!
Courtney

PS. Oh, my gosh, Strify is so freaking hot with black hair!
Just scroll through this page, there are more as you go down.

Cinema Bizarre

Yes, I realize that I have posted about Cinema Bizarre before. But today on the bus I was once again struck by how amazing their lyrics are.

CINEMA BIZARRE.
That name sums up perfectly this five piece Berlin based band.
The individual look, the explosive shows and the glamour of the movies tied in with a sound that refuses to be pigeonholed. First and foremost there is the music: Synthpop, New Wave, Electro, Rock and Pop merges into some kind of Glamorous Pop.
But CINEMA BIZARRE is not only meant to be heard but also to be seen. Look into their universe, these guys have a passion for visuality. Addicted to fashion, inspired by the Japanese youth culture Visual Kei, the boys pull off a package full of androgynity, desire and controversy since their theme is STYLE IS WAR.

Seriously, their music is amazing. It's not something that can be told right away, you have to listen to them over and over... Then you start to begin to understand. Their music, or at least the songs I own, consist of mostly metaphors. Sometimes the entire song is a metaphor. Their lyrics are something that don't make sense... But at the same time, they do. My favourite words of theirs would be from their song 'After the Rain.'

"What happened to my eyes, incapable of seeing size..."

Another great example is the chorus of 'Angel in Disguise':

Angel in disguise -
you save my soul

But you make my heart go blind
My devils rage inside -
just can't let go

Cause it feels so right

You make my heart go blind

Their videos are amazing as well:
Lovesongs (I like his cane... :3 (I refuse to call it a pimp stick! D:))
Forever or Never
Escape to the Stars (My favourite part is Kiro staring out the window longingly...)

~*~

In other news... There is none. But I noticed that certain people are putting a Wall of Icons on their blogs... And they're awesome. So I will follow in this trend, if you do not mind!

Monday, 2 March 2009

Bloody brilliant!
Hugh Laurie is great. XD
"I was lucky enough to spill your *beep* Vicoden... Oh, I'd better not say that."

A great movie. Hey, hey, doesn't Neal (guy singing) look familiar? It's Dr. Chase! From House! (I just discovered that... Cool!)

Sunday, 1 March 2009

Right now I'm trying to figure out how the heck I arrived back in Dunbarton when I just left it!
(I'm playing Mabinogi.)

Today we didn't go to church... I'm not quite sure why, but at around noon we went to my grandmother's because my aunt, uncle, and their adorable two-year-old daughter are in town. I just came back... I ate too much... Potato chips. But I still want some! Now I kind of wish that I didn't back my mother up when she told my grandma to keep the extra bag of chips. -sigh-

I finally finished cleaning my room! It took two weeks, darnit, but I got it done! It looks so nice! I just need new doors now. A closet door and a regular door. >_>

My grandma loaned me her extended version of Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring. Yay! I've been dying to see the extended version! We have the second and third, but I had to watch the regular one for the first one from Family Video.
