Nobody's Perfect.

I've been going through a writing/art block, yes. And that includes blogging.
Apologies!
I've just been feeling like my blogging is pretty boring. Which it is, in my opinion. (Don't bother with "oh, no it's not!" because that's not why I'm saying this. I'm just stating my feelings.)
To make up for my lack of blogging, I will go through my past week with you... In pictures. >:D

Last Saturday I went on what was pretty much the best date ever. It was a friendly date, but that doesn't matter. (With the Fetus.)

We took a spontaneous stop to here, a trail that goes alongside the river.

It turned into an adventure.
(Not only this, but walking along the slope you see in the background, but only steeper, jumping across part of the river from a small ledge.... Ouch.)

We did so much that day... Stole some soda from his mum's (and said hello, of course!), saw Kick Ass (best movie ever), the mall, went back to his house and watched Sherlock Holmes... With more stuff in between!

Okay, then half the week went by without me taking pictures. XD Today Fetus and I went out for a photoshoot.... You'll find out what these photographs are for on a later date.

I took 42 photos. ^^; These two are my favourites.

Bwaha... And HERE is my favourite part of this post.
Monday night I sat down and was all like, "Ohh, I'm going to draw a unicorn, and it'll be a nice and pretty unicorn..." While I was sketching, Angel texted my computer, so I told her, "I'm drawing a unicorn!!!" And she replied with, "Give it wings! And, and! A fiery mane and tail!" After talking with her for twenty minutes, my pretty unicorn turned into this... An animal of mass destruction!!!
Please full view. That way you can get a full grasp of its destructiveness.
And yes, I meant that it shoots cannon balls from its hooves, not cannons! That wouldn't work!
...Wow, that was a long caption.

Wiedersehen!

Today I Became Engaged. And Then a Turkey.

It should be illegal to write when this tired.

I came to school this morning, all "Lalalalala I hope this day goes by quickly~~~," in a pretty good mood because early-morning gaming just does that to me. Met my friends at the lockers, and the first thing that was directed towards me was, "...Hold on, hold on. Courtney, I need to ask you something." It was Chelsie. She scrambled to her feet. I looked at Angel, and she looked highly amused. I was scared. You would be, too, if you knew Chels.
"Courtney," she bent down onto one knee, holding out a ring. "Will you marry me?"
It took me a moment to get my bearings, but once I was able to speak (yeah, I'm exaggerating for dramatic effect. Go with it.), I said, "Well... It's a bit soon...." We'd only been going out for a week! (Again, just go with it.) Chelsie put her hands on her hips and glared at Angel. "I told you!!!"
"I just wanted to see her do it," Angel said guiltily, when she saw my glare. Personally, I think she's just jealous because Chelsie took back the roses she gave Angel for Valentine's Day and gave them to me. She still hasn't recovered from that.
I ended up accepting Chelsie's offer and wore her class ring for five minutes.

Ifoundthisreallygreatblogandyoushouldgocheckitout. Rightnow.

The turkey thing comes in much later, after school. Andrea-A came over and we watched Invader Zim. ....If you're not extremely familiar with this show, then I will not bother explaining that reference. Deal with it.

My knee still hasn't started scabbing.

And I'm considering getting MSN. I have no idea why. I love my yahoo email address. But now I want a webcam.

I really need to start finding dates for Friday nights. It's just too boring over here by myself.

...Are you still reading this thing?

Schlog mich Baby noch ein mal!

Reading: The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, vol 2
Eating: Reese's egg
Listening: Wise Guys and Barenaked Ladies

Yesterday was the first day off Spring Break. =.= Whooo-peee...!
But after school I hung out with Plushie, so it was all good. (Shae couldn't come! D:<)
We looked at his Neopets cards, went onto Neopets online, then a walk. We ran into Rachel with her boyfriend, Chris! I've heard a bit about Chris (and his brother), so it was cool to finally meet him!
As Rachel and Chris rode away from us, Rachel told us, "Stay out of trouble now!"
......And then we got into trouble for the first time EVER.
(SHE JINXED US!)
We went by this one house, and I saw a sign covered up with pine needles, and I wanted to know what it said! It looked like the sign was on the property of the building next to that house, and Plushie thought so too. I kicked off the needles with my feet then he helped me lift up the sign to inspect it, but it was all rubbed off. :( So we just put it back on the ground and left (but not before I took this cool log!). We were about halfway down the street when this guy came out of his house, smoking who knows what, and yelled at us: "HEY! You gonna clean my lawn back up?!" We were both like 'D: What do we do?!' So we told him that we didn't know that it was his lawn, and we were sorry, but he was still standing there, scowering at us angrily.
"We'll clean it up," I told him finally, pretty annoyed. He went back into his house and I kicked the needles back onto the sign. ("And I'm keeping his log!")
Then we walked around on the other side of the street, and even went BEHIND that street (walked along the tracks), just to avoid his house. XDD

Plushie kept looking over his shoulder, paranoid that he was just going to show up.
He'd be leaning against the library, smoking his whatever. He'd take a loooong drag, then say in a creepy voice... "You didn't pick up my lawn.... And now you're gonna die."
...At least in Plushie's imagination.

What's Another Word for Desperate?

Best way to end Spring Break.

I woke up at 6:30 this morning, as always, despite it being a Sunday. Now, I know you're probably thinking I'm insane, but you'd be doing the exact same thing if you were in my position. ;)

[Wow, I suck. Started this on Sunday, finishing it on Tuesday. >.<]

I arrived at the hill before Shae, but after Plushie (he actually came!). We lay on the hill for a bit, and Shae joined us, but we became a bit bored. (There was a little sunrise! Yay!) So we traveled next door, to the logging company. There Shae and I became men. (Plushie, however, did not. He refused to walk in the puddle.) We also climbed around on top of the logs (I nearly killed myself! xD!) and giant piles of dirt. Then we noticed the parked train and we went over to inspect it.
...I feel like I should not write about this here. XD
Oh well. We climbed on top of the trains! I think P went up first, then Shae, then somehow they convinced me to do the same. I'm glad I did, it was beautiful up there. Such a view! After walking around on that car, I found myself hopping from car to car behind Shae and Plushie. O.o (It did take about ten minutes of "Come on, Courtney! I know you can do it!" But whoo caaares...)

And we saved a puppy!
We were headed back to go home when we heard this loud screeching, screaming sound. We thought a dog was being abused, seriously. Turns out this guy put a puppy he was pet-sitting on his porch (surrounded by fencing), and the dog was throwing a fit. It was raining, I can't believe he'd put someone else's dog out there! When he saw us he tried climbing through the bars of the porch rail. =.= He did actually get out, and P put him back (Shae had to distract the big dog so it wouldn't eat us xD). Then he tried to climb out again, but didn't get so lucky that time. He became stuck, and we had to go knock on the guy's door to let him know. (The dog did eventually wiggle his way out, though.)
Proof:

Then after church (which I nearly missed) we met up again. When Plush and I were headed over on our bikes to meet Shae, I started screwing around and ended up wiping my bike out, and on the shoulder of the road. I thought I was completely fine until we got to his house (we went back for some money), where I realized I had blood streaming down my leg. Long story short, the road took out his big chunk of my knee when I fell. >.< It was reaaaally gross.... I couldn't even look at it straight when I first realized it was there. But hey, I don't have to describe it to you-- you can see for yourself! XDD

YEAH, HUGE IMAGE!
...Because I just like grossing people out with it.

When I came home I changed the bandage. Before I put a new one on, I made sure to go find my mom to show her.
Mom: "Ew, disgusting! Why would you SHOW me that?!" *slams door on my face*
XDD
She thinks I might need stitches, though. :/ I mean, it looks a whooole lot less bloody than in that picture, but it's still pretty deep, and the center still looks gorey. So she's gonna call the doctor today.

Hmm... I still have more to write about, so I'm gonna do what Shae does and make a new post! Sorry :DD

g h o s t i e

Tonight will be the night I fall for you.

I have an adventure planned for tomorrow!
Wake up early, watch the sunset with my two friends (Plushie might actually come!), engage in some more illegal activity, then go to church. But aaaafter church... LETTERBOXING. Er, well, in my mind. I haven't asked anyone else yet. XD But if they are game, I'm prepared!

Today Plushie gave me an awesome Wocky mini-plushie (Neopets, yo!), and I luff it.
Uhm... I just read that Neopets has petpetpets? O.o; I'm worried. That's weeeird. But my Kacheek, Puchink, is adorable! I just need to change her colour... Stupid fountain, never working!
......Oh, sorry. I got distracted there. XD
Anyway, I went shopping with my mother, and I got some cool stuff. ^_^ I found a Ranma 1/2 movie at Goodwill!!! And OHCRAP Plush and I still have not discussed what we're doing at the next anime club meeting. DX Oh, well, if all else fails, we could just watch Ranma 1/2. xD
Well, I'd better get to bed, as it is growing very late and I am waking up early tomorrow.

Goodnight, my fellow bloggers and readers. <3

Of Ruling the World and Licking Floors

If you haven't checked out my Cbox in the past few days, I am so sorry. You have missed one of the best conversations I have ever been involved in. In short, me and my friends, Shae and Plushie, have been pretty much hijacking each others' names, and... Weell, you can see for yourself:

rubyredslippers
: bow to my awesomeness!

Courtney
:
yes.yes your royal awesomeness, we love you

Plushie:
oh we do! most excellent blogger, you are the pinnacle of greatness! we bow in your presence

Courtney:
OH. YOU'RE DEAD.

Plushie:
HEY HEY HEY!!! No one uses my name but me!!!

Plushie: i am sorry ruby, personality number 5 is misbehaving

Plushie
: I only have 3 personalities thank you!!

Courtney: My brain is about to explode. Again.

shae: I'm suprised that doesn't happen more often.

Courtney: ikr? altho i dont have much of a brain to explode so...

Plushie: yes, tis true

shae: PLUSHIE! dont be so mean to poor courtney!

Plushie
: Sorry, sorry.

Courtney
: Don't be sorry, it's so true.

Plushie
: yes, but i was so wrong. you and shae shall rule the world!

Courtney
: Oh don't be silly, you are the true ruler of the world Plushie, shae and I are no match for you.

Plushie: but you are, i am weak and powerless, will you let me mop the floors of your fortress when you rule

Courtney
: Of course not, someone as magnificent as you should not be mopping floors, you take over the world.

Courtney
: I'll do the mopping.

Plushie
: no, i shall LICK the floor! it would be an HONOR!

Courtney
: There shall be no floor licking for you. Just ice cream.

Plushie
: only liver flavored tho. it shall be my penance! i must eat it and think of my sins
shae
: Fine, *I* will lick the floor!

shae
: Nobody is more deserving.

Plushie
: no, please dont. you might get sick! then who would rule the world? allow me to lick the floor...

Plushie
: i shall do so with pleasure knowing that you shall be saved

shae
: oh, why thank you! You are such a loyal follower.

shae
: when you're done with this floor, could you go under my bed? the dust bunnies there are horrendous.

Plushie
: of course! it would be my dearest pleasure!! next i shall make you vats of pink lemonade!

Plushie
: Nah, I'm just kidding, good luck with the floor licking suckers ;D

Courtney: Oh yeah? You think you're not doing it? I have a dirty floor, too, and I don't see anyone cleaning it!

Plushie
: Then you should probably get on that.

Plushie
: I'm am so sorry for being so difficult!

Plushie
: To make up for it, I shall lick both your floors, and cleans your cats, all with my
tongue!

Plushie
: I only hope that will do it justice.

Plushie
: Nah, I'm only kidding, I just like messing with you guys X3

shae: i luv this cbox... always makes me laugh. you guys rockl!

I love you guys. <33

"Ich Will Keinen Zentimeter Mehr Zwischen Uns"

"I don't want a centimeter between us."

I saw an icon that said that. ^ (In German, not English.) I really like it.

I really sucked with yesterday's post. XD Sorry 'bout that.

Well, today I woke up early, at 6:30, like I did yesterday, to watch the sunrise. It was so cold that I had to turn my bike around, though, to go get my winter coat and some gloves. Doesn't that suck? It should not be this cold! Anyway. I was the only one there, to my disappointment. But it didn't matter. Shae was right, the hill is most certainly an enchanted place (read Stargirl?). I was wondering when I should go, convinced that there wouldn't be a sunrise again, and when I was starting to decide that I should go, it's too cold... The sky caught on fire.

I'm serious. Imagine these photos are 8x more gorgeous, and that should give you an idea of what it was like this morning.

(this was actually the last one I took.)

The sunrise cast an amazing light on the world behind me. The lighting disappeared with the sun (it hid behind the clouds after the show).

Oh, gosh. I nearly forgot! Remember the little building next to the hill I mentioned in the last post? There were men there this morning, and the door was open! But... But...!!! By the time I inconspicuously rode by bike to that side of the hill, they door was closed so much that there was only a tiny crack in the door, and I couldn't get close enough to see inside. v.v
When I was looking at the sunrise, I caught one of the men looking at me. He was just staring, then took a step forward, but I raised my camera to the sky at that point, and he turned away. I don't know if it was a coincidence or what, but it was kind of funny. :3 I'm not a hoodlum! (Not really!)

In other news, I want to plan a trip to the zoo sometime in the following months (even though I hate zoos), so if anyone is interested... Drop me a hint. ;) (And yeah, you have to live within a twenty mile radius of me!)
Also... Anyone interested in going to a Superchick concert? In May? At the best amusement park in the world? Who can drive? (I'm sorry, the last one is a requirement... Kidding. But it would be really nice. We don't have a ride yet. v.v)

Thursday, 8 April 2010

Yeah... I fail at posting when I need to. :/ (Even more at journalling when I need to. >.<) Here's my schedule today:

6:30am- Wake up. Press snooze.
6:35- Hear my mom playing the piano downstairs.
6:37- Decide I'd better just get up and stop waiting for my alarm to go off.
7:00- Meet Shae at the hill.
7-7:30- Chat with Shae, wait for the nonexistent sunrise to appear, make plans. I honestly can't remember what time it was at this point- We waited for some men to drive away from this small house/shed-like building that's next to the hill. Once they were gone, we inspected the lock on the door, determined that we could not pick it with a bobby pin, and carried this big heavy rock up the hill. The rock rolled down once we got it up there, so it took us another few minutes to roll it back up. =.= But once we got it up we realized that it wasn't quite tall enough to get us up on the roof, then some guy pulled up in a truck and waved us away angrily.
Whoknowswhattime-9:00- Have breakfast/work on my essay for English
9-9:50 (am)- Play the Sims
3 10-11:00- go to the coffee shop with Shae, buy a delicious cinnamon roll, and play Lakewoodopoly (a crack version of Monopoly xD) and lose.

Okay, so that's just my morning. But for the rest of the day I pretty much just played Sims 3, worked on my essay, and browsed the interwebs. At one point I erased my whiteboard and wrote some new stuff on it. But that's it. :/
Tomorrow I'll work on doing stuff in the afternoon, too!

But for now I am falling asleep,

A Quickie

Felt like I should write a quick post before bed.... I'm going to bed early tonight! I WILL! Or at least I will go to my bed and stay in there early! Even if it means I have to read fifty chapters of The Hollow People, I will do it!!!

....Aaaaaanywaaay.... (coughcough) I love youth group so much, now that both Shae and Plushie are going. :DD Before, it was like, 'Yeah, I'll have fun... I can talk to Shantell and Zach...' and then it was, 'Yeah, Plushie's going! We can talk!' But noooow it is, 'I hope Plushie brought a cup, or else Shae may seriously injure the boy.' (Kiiiiidiiing... Kinda. XDD) Yeah, it's a lot of fun! Tonight, after youth group was over, we just hung out and chatted. (And listened to some guys play the guitar... Eric and Shae tried to guess each other's names... At one point Shae and Plushie were on me, trying to blow into each of my ears.........)

You may have noticed that I changed the header of my blog once again. I became bored... Also, the quality of the last one kinda bugged me. So here you have it, a photo I took at the Gardens last year! (I snagged to from my Flickr and just made it into a header quickly. xD)

I think this one fits my blog better. Definitely ties into the colour sceme.
Okay, I'd better head into that rain-like machine thing now... Later!

My Favourite Anime Openings

I haven't done this in a few years, so I figured it was high time to update my list. ;)
I've seen a lot of anime openings in my time (lawl), but these are by far the best ones I've seen.

1.
This one just happens to be my absolute favourite opening and anime. I can't even begin to explain how much this opening (and anime) means to me. Just goes to show that some of the best anime are incredibly unappreciated.

2.
Here's an instance where I love the opening waaay more than the anime. The opening fills me with so many emotions... Then the anime starts, and I'm like, "Oh. Yeah. This is a good show."

3..
I really have no idea why this opening is so great. It just is. I have friends who will completely agree with me, too, so it's not just me.

4.
The Lucky Star opening is just frickin' awesome. XDD I luff it.

...Yeah, I couldn't even make it to #5. XD
Enjoy! (Yeah, yeah, I see you walking away without even watching these videos! GET BACK HERE!!!)

E... E... E... Something that starts with E...

Weeell, today started off as a disappointment... My mom came in my room when I was still mostly asleep and told me that she was going to split up our candy and make a basket for my brother's friend, who stayed over last night. =.= I was preeeeetty annoyed by that one. But I still received a fair amount of candy. (First year getting Peeps!)
Theeen (I stretch words out a lot >.>) I arrived to church, all excited because I knew the drama team would be performing a bit, heard some rumours about people singing before service..... *sigh* But THEN the woman in charge of Childrens' Ministry found my in the sanctuary, and apparently I was supposed to be serving this week. =.=;; I was tired and upset, which is not a good mix, but it was fine. I went in there thinking, "Okay, God, this had BETTER be WORTH IT!" and it was. Taliah (spelling, spelling) stuck a foam bunny sticker to my back, which I moved to the pocket of my sweater, where it still remains. And afterward I had the chance to talk to Zach (twice in one week! I'M ON A ROLL!!!), which I wouldn't have been able to do if I'd attended the regular service. (I would have been dragged out as always.)

Things that have made me laugh today (Sorry, Shae, I hope you don't mind me stealing this!):
-The "Secretary of Defense" called, and when I said "YOU CAN'T PROVE ANYTHING!" Plushie heard a helicopter in the distance.
-I just remembered when I was hanging out with Plushie and Fetus, and Fetus pulled a knife on me. "We've joked about it before, but this time it's for real!" he declared. XD
-"Life is sexually transmitted and always fatal." I stole this from Shae's awesome blog, and iloveit.
-A certain Plushie pinning me down (he was not on top of me, BTW!) so I couldn't draw attention to us... He's been running from phantoms. O.o I do not understand.
-In the toddler room today at church, a girl came in to take photos of the kids, and this one boy was such a ham! He did these great model-like poses, putting his arm on the top of the chair, draping himself across the chair, laying on the floor... XD It was great.

And, finally, this hilarious video I was shown today after Easter dinnah:

I had my dad behind me, "'Oooh, it's so WINDY in here!'" XDDD He looks like he's being blown over by a gust of wind!

My Music Library

Click for full view.

The artists that have the most songs in my iTunes library are what show up bigger, but it's still cool, right?

Here's how to do this:
1. Open up your iTunes music library
2. Go to View > View Options
3. Uncheck everything but 'Artist'
4. Select all and copy (ctrl+a, ctrl+c for Windows)
5. Go to Wordle.net and paste your text
6. Erase all the songs, but keep the artists. (This could take awhile... There's probably an easier way to go about this, but this is how I did it.)
7. Voila!

A Lack of Posting

I have a good excuse!!!
Seriously, I do.
A few weekends ago I bought (er, my mom bought for me) this reaaaally awwwesooome new journal (my pink kitty one ran out. XDD Thank GOD.), and I've been writing every single day. About everything that has been going on. Which is a LOT.
I just... When I'm out in town doing things, having a blast, I think "When I go home I should blog about this..." But the thought of sitting down in front of my computer, typing in digital words that the world can see, on a black background... It is so unappealing when I think about my journal. With my journal I can touch the words, feel the paper, run my fingers over the indents they make. And in five, ten, maybe even twenty years, I will be able to read back about the adventures I had when I was in high school. I can't do that with a blog.

And so that is my excuse, but I am working on posting more, so don't worry! I've been doing this for four years! There's no way I can stop now!

Anyway, for the entire past week, starting Monday, I have been going out in town. Monday Fetus invited me to hang out with him, so we rode around on our bikes, lay down on the hill, bought some Peace Tea, and hung out in the park. Tuesday Plush and I went to the hill. Wednesday is my Adventure day, so I planned on walking about a mile down the train tracks to this old construction site I've heard about, but that didn't work out. XD Ended up going back and forth to the gas station for supplies, the furniture store, then the hill. xD But still, adventure! Yesterday I hung out with Plushie and Shae at, yes, the hill. Love that hill.
Today I'm gonna go to the big library. ^^ And maaaaaybe the ice cream shop? Maybe? *wishes she had money*

I guess that's my week in a nutshell.

HAPPY SPRING BREAK!
